Terms and Conditions

Prices: All prices are subject to a custom quote. All domestic orders are FOB point of origin. All international orders are Ex-Works. Prices are subject to change without notice. Formal price quotes are valid for 30 days.
Exclusions: Prices do not include sales tax, shipping and handling charges, fees and dues, insurance, storage, wrapping, crating, unwrapping, assembly, installation, wall anchoring and hanging, scribing, leveling, shimming, adjusting or adding gliders, surveys of passageways, corridors, elevators, etc. (needed for delivery of larger pieces of furniture such as cabinets, bookcases, sideboards, sofas, beds, etc.*), fabrics, leather, vinyl and similar materials for upholstered furniture, door insets, etc.**, custom mixed color finishing materials and finish samples.
Payment method: Domestic orders- business or personal check only, payable to Atelier of Prague, Inc. International orders- Check in USD, payable to Atelier of Prague, Inc., or International wire transfer in USD. All payments must be drawn on US bank. Currency exchange fees and any other applicable fees must be added.
50% deposit required on all orders.
Complete balance is due upon invoice receipt, prior to pickup / delivery.
Accounts not paid within ten (10) working days after balance invoice receipt are subject to 1% monthly late payment charge.
Any order left over ten (10) working days after balance invoice receipt will be subject to a storage fee.
All orders are final and are not cancelable, all specification must be submitted in writing.
By submitting a payment to Atelier of Prague, Inc. the purchaser agrees to Atelier of Prague, Inc. Terms and Conditions.
Approvals in our storage in Long Island City, NY 11101.
All paid orders will be considered as approved, unless approval appointment was scheduled prior to the pickup date.
Atelier of Prague, Inc. shall not be held responsible for merchandise once it has left Atelier of Prague, Inc. premises.
Atelier of Prague, Inc. shall have no responsibility for unclaimed merchandise not picked up within six months from the date of completion.
Storage: Any merchandise left over on Atelier of Prague. Inc. premises for more than five (5) working days after balance invoice receipt is a subject to Atelier of Prague, Inc. "Storage" Terms and Conditions:
Atelier of Prague, Inc. is not responsible for wrapping, crating or otherwise protecting the stored merchandise, it is available on request at additional charge.
Atelier of Prague Inc. does not provide any insurance for merchandise stored on Atelier of Prague, Inc. premises, the owner of the merchandise stores it at his/her own risk.
Atelier of Prague, Inc. shall not be held responsible for any damages or loss resulting from storing or handling stored merchandise.
Any merchandise left over ten (10) working days after balance invoice receipt is a subject to storage fee of 1% of the total value of the stored merchandise for every commenced week, beginning the following Monday after balance invoice receipt (minimum storage fee is $25 for every commenced week). Full payment for merchandise storage is due upon invoice receipt, prior to pickup / delivery.
Finishes
:
Standard sheen on all furniture is satin. Matte and high gloss finishes are available. Standard finish for furniture interior surfaces is clear or white satin lacquer. Custom mixed color lacquers are available in matte, satin, and high gloss finishes. Standard color samples are approximate only and due to the nature of wood and finishing materials cannot be reproduced exactly on finished product.
Hardware: Drawers - Standard drawer slides are ball bearing sidemount heavy duty slides in chrome finish. Optional soft closing concealed undermount slides are available for most of our furniture models. Doors - Standard door hinges are European style adjustable hinges in chrome finish. Optional soft closing hinges are available.
Dimensions: All dimensions are overall (OA) unless specified otherwise. All drawings and design details are kept confidential and Atelier of Prague, Inc. reserves the right not to submit them for any purposes.
Quality: All Atelier of Prague, Inc. products are of exceptional quality and meet the highest industry standards. All products are produced to Atelier of Prague, Inc. specifications and are subject to Atelier of Prague, Inc. Terms and Conditions.
Delivery: Furniture delivery is available on request and is provided by independent shipping companies according to their own terms and policies.
Warranty: Atelier of Prague, Inc. products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from date of balance invoice. (Customized products are excluded. COM fabric, other COM materials and optional or custom ordered hardware, including but not limited to pocket door mechanism, drawer fall front mechanism, touch-latches, etc. are excluded). During warranty period Atelier of Prague, Inc. will repair, or at its discretion, replace defective product free of charge. Any shipping charges and/or travel expenses resulting from warranty repairs or replacements are the customer's responsibility. This warranty does not extend to damages resulting from shipping or handling, accidents, abuse, misuse, or ordinary wear and tear and/or to merchandise that has been repaired, altered, or otherwise worked on by other than Atelier of Prague, Inc. authorized party. This warranty is not transferable and extends only to, and is solely for the benefit of, the original purchaser of the product. Except as stated in the express warranty above, purchaser takes all merchandise "AS IS", and Atelier of Prague, Inc. gives this express warranty in lieu of all other warranties, express, implied, statutory or other, of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose or use. Atelier of Prague, Inc. shall have no liability for any damage or injury resulting from any use of Atelier of Prague, Inc. products.
Note: All large pieces of furniture such as cabinets, chests of drawers, dressers, etc., should be anchored to the wall by a licensed contractor. All mirrors and other hanging objects should be hung by a licensed contractor. All pieces of furniture that come in parts should be assembled by a skilled professional.
Lead time: Production lead time is only approximate. Atelier of Prague, Inc. shall have no liability for any delay or failure to deliver or perform due to any reason, including but not limited to labor difficulties, material shortage, acts of God, or any other cause.

*All such pieces of furniture are built in one part unless special construction is requested by the client.
**All such materials are "COM" - customer's own material. Upholstery leather is available from Atelier of Prague, Inc. at additional cost.
