Exclusions: Prices do not include sales tax, shipping and handling charges, fees and dues, insurance, storage, wrapping, crating, unwrapping, assembly, installation, wall anchoring and hanging, scribing, leveling, shimming, adjusting or adding gliders, surveys of passageways, corridors, elevators, etc. (needed for delivery of larger pieces of furniture such as cabinets, bookcases, sideboards, sofas, beds, etc.*), fabrics, leather, vinyl and similar materials for upholstered furniture, door insets, etc.**, custom mixed color finishing materials and finish samples.
Payment methods: Business or personal check, payable to Atelier of Prague, Inc or wire transfer.
International orders: Check in USD, payable to Atelier of Prague, Inc., or International wire transfer in USD. Currency exchange fees and any other applicable fees must be added.
50% deposit is required on all custom orders. 100% payment including all applicable taxes, charges, fees, etc. is required on international orders, rush orders and "quick ship furniture" orders, payable upon invoice receipt. Complete balance payment (if any) is due 30 days from the deposit payment upon invoice receipt, prior to pickup / delivery.
Resale number is required for sales tax exempt (if applicable).
Accounts not paid within ten (10) business days after the balance invoice receipt are subject to 1% monthly late payment charge from the total order value.
All custom orders are final and are not cancelable after deposit payment (or full advanced payment) receipt. There are no returns or refunds on custom made orders. All order details such as sizes, finishes, hardware color and type, etc. must be submitted in writing prior production. By submitting a payment to Atelier of Prague, Inc. the purchaser agrees to Atelier of Prague, Inc. Terms and Conditions.
All paid for orders will be considered as approved, unless approval appointment is scheduled prior to the pickup date.
Approvals and furniture pick up: Maspeth, N.Y. 11378 - by appointment only.
Atelier of Prague, Inc. shall not be held responsible for merchandise once it has been picked up from the workshop.
Any order left over ten (10) business days after balance invoice receipt will be subject to a storage fee.
Atelier of Prague, Inc. shall have no responsibility for merchandise not picked up within 30 days from the date of completion.
Atelier of Prague, Inc. shall have no liability for any delay or failure to deliver or perform due to any reason, including but not limited to labor difficulties, material shortage, acts of God, or any other cause.
Storage: Any merchandise left over for more than five (5) business days after balance invoice receipt is a subject to Atelier of Prague, Inc. "Storage" Terms and Conditions:
Atelier of Prague, Inc. is not responsible for wrapping, crating or otherwise protecting the stored merchandise, it is available on request at additional charge.
Atelier of Prague Inc. does not provide any insurance for merchandise left over in the workshop, the owner of the merchandise stores it at his/her own risk.
Atelier of Prague, Inc. shall not be held responsible for any damages or loss resulting from storing or handling of merchandise left over in the workshop for more than five (5) business days after balance invoice receipt.
Any merchandise left over ten (10) business days after balance invoice receipt is a subject to storage fee of 1% of the total value of the stored merchandise for every commenced week, beginning the following Monday after balance invoice receipt (minimum storage fee is $25 for every commenced week). Full payment for merchandise storage is due upon invoice receipt, prior to pickup / delivery.

Finishes: Standard sheen on all furniture is satin. Matte and high gloss finishes are available. Standard finish for furniture interior surfaces is clear or white satin lacquer. Custom mixed color lacquers are available in matte, satin, and high gloss finishes. Standard color samples are approximate only and due to the nature of wood and finishing materials cannot be reproduced exactly on finished product. Custom finish strike-offs are available at additional cost.
Hardware: Drawers: Standard drawer slides are ball bearing sidemount heavy duty slides in chrome finish. Optional soft closing concealed undermount slides are available for most of our furniture models. Doors: Standard door hinges are European style adjustable hinges in chrome finish. Optional soft closing hinges are available. Shelves: Most of cabinet interior shelves are height adjustable, exterior shelves may be fixed or adjustable depending on the design. Floor gliders: Most of dressers, credenzas, large cabinets, etc. are equipped with height adjustable floor protecting gliders, most of night stands, side tables, etc. are equipped with non adjustable floor protecting gliders.
Dimensions: All dimensions are approximate, the actual product size may vary. All drawings and design details are kept confidential and Atelier of Prague, Inc. reserves the right not to submit them for any purposes.
Quality: All Atelier of Prague, Inc. products are of exceptional quality and exceed the highest industry standards. All products are produced to Atelier of Prague, Inc. specifications and are subject to Atelier of Prague, Inc. Terms and Conditions.
Delivery: Furniture delivery is available on request and is provided by independent shipping companies according to their own terms and policies.
Warranty: Atelier of Prague, Inc. products are warranted against defects in materials, finishes and standard hardware for one year from the date of balance invoice. COM fabric, other COM materials and optional or custom ordered hardware, including but not limited to pocket door mechanism, drawer fall front mechanism, touch-latch mechanism, etc. are excluded - such materials or hardware are covered by the original manufacturer warranty. During warranty period Atelier of Prague, Inc. will repair, or at its discretion, replace its product with defects in materials, finishes and standard hardware free of charge. Any shipping charges and/or travel expenses resulting from warranty repairs or replacements are the customer's responsibility. This warranty does not extend to damages resulting from shipping or handling, accidents, abuse, misuse, or ordinary wear and tear and/or to merchandise that has been repaired, altered, or otherwise worked on by other than Atelier of Prague, Inc. authorized party. This warranty is not transferable and extends only to, and is solely for the benefit of, the original purchaser of the product. Except as stated in the express warranty above, purchaser takes all merchandise "AS IS", and Atelier of Prague, Inc. gives this express warranty in lieu of all other warranties, express, implied, statutory or other, of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose or use. Atelier of Prague, Inc. shall have no liability for any damage or injury resulting from any use of Atelier of Prague, Inc. products.
Note: All large pieces of furniture such as cabinets, chests of drawers, dressers, etc., should be anchored to the wall by a licensed contractor. All mirrors and other wall or ceiling hung objects should be installed by a licensed contractor. All pieces of furniture that come in parts should be assembled by a skilled professional.
